I bought two pairs of these
before setting out for 6 months in Mexico and Central America.
I needed something that could handle rough urban & rural
terrain and water. I also needed something that looked
presentable in most settings and could get dirty/wet and clean
up well. These dozers provided everything I asked and more!
They were super-very comfortable, very supportive, very
durable, nice-looking, sufficiently closed-toe to keep my toes
from getting scuffed and to get me into factory settings as
well as nice bars/restaurants. Plus, they are light-weight and
pack easily. I wore the hell out these things and they still
look and feel very good. I am now looking for a pair in
leather. I still have my first pair of Teva sandals (terra-fi)
from about 10 years ago. I have purchased other Aetrex
sneakers, since and found the quality to have declined. I am
happy to say that these dozers I have seem to be of the same
exceptionally-high quality as my first Tevas; I can imagine
still using them 10 years from now.
The Teva Dozer felt great right out of the box. It is
comfortable and feels like a sandal and a sneaker. It's a
great warm weather shoe and provides much better foot
protection and support than a typical sandal. Also, very
comfortable while driving. I was very impressed with the
overall quality considering the modest price.
I love these shoes. In fact, this is my second pair of Dozers
that I have bought. They are very comfortable and supportive.
I will wear them all summer long.
The order I placed was for a friend that is very perticular.

Like the full toe coverage and stability of the shoe, it
doesn't have the bulk of Keen or the "openess" of other Double
Hook and Loop shoes by Aetrex. Stylish and athletic for a
sandal.
I ordered these for my husband after he had tried on a pair at
a local store. He is in construction and on his feet all day
long in safety shoes so he is very particular about his
"comfortable" shoes. He wears them all the time on the
weekends. |
