We have a trip planned for
white water rafting in the Grand Canyon. We needed a shoe that
could go in water as well as be comfortable for hiking. We
were looking for a closed toe sandle and these were perfect
and the price was right. They were so comfortable right from
the start.
Wears this shoe: I have worn these for hiking ,biking and will
be using them rafting.
Bought it for a summer touring trip. Felt great, no blisters
although we walked a ton and many others in the tour ended up
with lots of bandaids on their feet by the end.
My wife made me buy these shoes. I didn't like the looks of
them at first. Had to buy a full size larger than usual
because I have wide feet with high arch, a 12 instead of 11,
but they fit perfectly. She was right as usual. I wear these
all the time, I even play golf in them. Best pair of everyday
shoes I've ever had. I've worn the Teva sandles for years but
these are my favorites now. Great shoe.
I bought these sandals to wear during river crossings on a
major mountain climbing expedition. It looks like they will be
perfect for the task because they cover the toes to keep from
stubbing them on rocks hidden beneath the watter and the sole
has a grippy tred. I usually wear orthotics with my shoes, but
I've been wearing these sandals around the house and outside
without them and they really give me good support.
Wears Aetrex Gramercy shoe: Any time. Around the house when
it's hot. River crossings when backpacking
The only complaint I had with this shoe was that it came in
whole sizes only. Otherwise, I love the Stitched Toe shoe by
Aetrex. I am a triathlete with very sensitive feet and like
the support of a running style shoe without the full enclosure
of one. |
